I recently started using vue again (vue 11 professional). I'm considering joining the club, but I'm a little wary of the $100 pricetag. For someone who doesn't tend to post gallery renders (no clue why I don't...but...I don't) is it a good deal?

You don(t have to pay anything to pot in the galleries or the forums at Corn, you just need to register and become a regular member. The C Club membership is not needed for anything. If you buy it, you get better deals on the shop, and access to a special forum, but I think that's it. Or are you talking about something else?

no, that's what I'm referring to. For some reason, I thought their gallery was only open for members to the C Club. Must have misread it.
I guess if you are someone who thinks they will buy a lot of content, it's a way to maybe save some money. I certainly plan on purchasing at least one module, but who knows about the other stuff. There are some nice looking items.

The modules aren't cheaper for members either and so far I haven't seen special pricing for members on the modules at all.
If you plan on buying a lot of tutorials, the the c-club is interesting also, since you get a lot of the turorials at a much better price. I became a member when the membership was on sale (you may want to wait for that to happen) and by now I've saved more on tutorials then I paid for the membership.
But if you don't plan on buying lot's of models or tutorials, then membership is of no value to you.

Don't they offer speicals where you get two modules for some percentage off? Or can you take advantage of those without paying the subscription fee?
aeilkema posted Sun, 24 March 2013 at 6:37 PM
Yes, they do have those offers, but I do think they're for everyone one, not just c-club members. I haven't seen the offers for a while now, they had problems with them and for me they never worked at all.
What version of Vue do you have? Infinite? xStream? Complete? Studio?

I have pro (studio, I think). Vue 11. I got it several of days ago, and am still getting used to it. I really want the eco painter module. Not sure of which others would be too beneficial to me...I should look at the features they offer.

The ecopainter is very nice to have, I did get that as an addition as well to my Vue 10 Studio, I don't regret having it at all.

I also have Vue 10 Studio and want to add Ecopainter module. They do have occasional specials, but only on specific modules and only for the latest version (Vue 11 now). I have never seen Ecopainter included in any of these specials. However, I do have the Club and like it. You get a $5 voucher each month that you can use on voucher eligible items and they also have Club specials each month including many items for 99 cents or even less. Most of the objects that I have are things that I have picked up on sale on these monthly deals, items that would normally cost $9 or more for only 99 cents. This includes some excellent deals on tutorials. I usually use the $5 voucher to add new plants and trees to my collection.
