Hi, I'm trying to learn weight maps with miki 4. Question:  I add the pants I've made to poser, go to the set up room and pick miki 4 and click the check box at the bottom to add miki 4 bones to the scene. 

That action transfers weight maps to pants.  Correct?

Does that action also do the grouping?

Yes, you get a question whether you want to let Poser subdivide the mesh. 

This generally works OK, but you may need tomake some corrections. Do that in with the group editor in the setup-room.

Poser asks if you want to autogroup.

Click YES, and you get the groups automatically AND the rigging will be transferred.

Thanks, that is what I thought happened but there so many terms that I still get confused.
