the head didn't seem to fit.  So are the bodies similar. the reason I chose james was to get an outift on him, so If I subsitute Koji for James then everything should be okay?

Body textures will work but head textures won't.  Try face room for creating different head textures which may suit James.

well I just went and bought a set from renderosity MP called thomas for james, but the UV map doesn't seem right really and he looks nothing like the promo pic.

James and James G2 are different figures, so need to be sure which one you're using.

Yeah I think that one is for P6 James. I think Content Paradise has some G2 textures available.

The whole different heads but same bodies wasn't the smartest move on the developers part. Don't know what they were thinkin there. Probably has a lot to do with why you rarely see those figures being used.

I have all Cyllan's textures for James from Content Paradise and they are really good. If you want to use James, also get the ultimate head morphs for him from RuntimeDNA - in the permanent deep freeze section. With the different G2 male characters sharing a body, at least the clothes are fully interchangeable. You just need to get used to the concept of the G2 figures - they are different, but very efficient to use for everyday type renders, and lots of nice career clothes available.

Yes, it is the career outfits that made me want to use G2 James instead of M4 which I normally use.  And you are correct, I was forgetting there were two different versions of James.  I got a nice texture from CP today and all is good with my posering with G2James now.

Thank you Esther for pointing me to that Thomas character for Poser 6 James. Very nice. P6 James can use some love too.
