My current installation is borked.  I need to re-install it, but I have no back up. I don't remember where I bought it, and an e-mail  I found in the readme file bounced back.

Does anybody know this software? Where is their web site?

Thanks!

It has been withdrawn from the marketplace and is no longer supported.

(Had the same thing happen to me and researched it a couple of months ago!)

... yes it is... and if you notice, it is no longer available for purchase.

[edit] Looks like we cross posted, Eagle.

TylerZambori,

what I do is put almost everything in external runtimes.  I have 100s of them. I think you said you were getting advanced library manager.  once you have that then the external runtimes become really quick and easy to use.  and to install renderosity content just rename the folder enclosing the runtime to something you will be able to find again quickly.  and put your folder with your other external runtimes.

Also I think advanced library manager also installs but I have never used this feature.

If you need to email me I can tell you more details of my setup so it is quick and easy to install and use poser stuff. esther@pacefiction.com

Saying that I do pay a university student to do my daz content installations.

MY ONLINE COMIC IS NOW LIVE

I aim to update it about once a month.  Oh, and it's free!

Thanks Esther :).  I've now been able to re-download it, thanks everyone!  Yes, I did get the advanced library manger. The process is much faster with 3DCI, but those old daz installers are painfully slow. I sure wish I could afford to hire somebody to do this for me too!

For your DAZ items, give the free DAZ Install Manager a try; most products can be downloaded and installed automagically, and  it beats clicking on those buttons over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and...

Thank you, but I want all the content in one external runtime, not lumped into into 2 different spots.  And the daz content certainly would be lumped.  Now that I have 3DCI  again it won't be quite so painful. :)

Do you now have to have DAZ Install Manager installed to download purchases at DAZ?

I can't find a way to download anything there any more.  The link they give you when you buy something leads to a page telling you to install DAZ Install Manager.

I really don't want to install DAZ Install Manager.  Just let me download the zips and I'll install them where I want them, thank you very much.

Also, the page says you need to install DAZ Studio to use DAZ Install Manager.  Is that true?

There is a tab in your account at DAZ which is called product library

Click on that and all your purchases are there. Click on the item and you will find a download link for the item at the bottom. It is a link to the zip file. No need to use the download manager

You can download the zip files with DIM without installing them and install them yourself as well. Keep in mind when installing that the Runtime folder is not in the root of these zip files, but is in the Content folder...

Thanks!  This is great news.  I hate those DAZ installers.  Much prefer zip files.
