Hi all,

Im trying to create some custom expressions. Ive had some success using the Poser Format Exporter in DS 4.5 Pro. However, im experiencing some trouble where characterINJ .pz2's are concerned.

Ive tried using different settings in the PFE but the results seem to be the same. In order to capture general transforms (Bend, Twist, etc.) I need to use the option Numeric(valueParm) setting. To get the morphs I use the Morphs(targetGeom) setting. Creating a .fc2 without these settings results in an incomplete expression (no eye movement, etc).

The result that continues to haunt me is that after I load a V4.2++, apply a custom character INJ .pz2 and then apply my custom .fc2, the face is reset from the custom INJ back to the base V4.2 face. I can only gather that this is a result of the Morphs(targetGeom) option.

Id like to create expressions that can be applied generally to any custom character.

Please help,

HBS

You get the same thing from Poser made FC2 files as well, the problem is that every single dial setting is saved into the file, to stop them resetting your morphs you need to manually edit them, deleting the dial settings you don't want.

Hi Bejaymac, thanks for the reply.

How do you delete the settings that you dont want?
