ok, are there any out there that make use of the SSS? I have seen some examples of jade done in it and it looks sweet.

Also light sets just for pp2012?

I have some in freestuff (gemshaders) and I made some  new ones (on my site). Definitely more choices now that we have SSS ;).

I have some earrings going so there'll probably be more...I always end up throwing in a couple new ones every time I add a piece of jewelry. LOL.

This is beryl (which I haven't done yet)

This is actually two shaders: because the refract node makes ugly black artifacts when the object that has that material is enclosed with a backing, I used SSS for the top one and a clear refract for the bottom one to sort of "fake" it. ;)

Wow...just wow.  I've got to look up this SSS thing.  I'm so easily confused by shaders, their application, and their usage.
