Hi
I'm looking for an established Renderosity vendor to partner up with on porting my PoseMaster for DAZ Studio product (written in DAZ Script) to Poser (you'd need to advise which tools to use e.g. Python script). See below for the product link.
Please PM me with your details and I'll get in touch with you on legals & commercials.
Thanks

I do not want to burst your bubble but I believe that Poser has had this capability for several versions now. In Poser it is call "Universal Poses" and enables poses made for one figure to be applied to another. I think I am correct in saying that it is based on Kamilchie's Puppet Master script.
I could be wrong.

You can use python to set value for the rotation channels.
There might be even some methods to read the joint alignment, so you do not need any static skeleton information. But thats theory :)

Hi Phil
Thanks for the info. I've had a number of people contacting me asking for this capability in Poser, so I can only assume there is something missing? I only use DS, so I don't know what Poser's native capabilities are.
I'll leave it up to the vendors who contact me to decide whether they believe there is added value in the PoseMaster features (e.g. batch conversion and animated pose conversion to name a few).
Cheers
