okay, we've got animation for some time now, and we've just got Reality3, and soon we'll have a new Poser release, so ...
what's stopping you from making something like this...

(just liked to share it, enjoy, it's not Poser but it could be, the Toon Giraffe from 3DUniverse could do)

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.
visit www.aRtBeeWeb.nl (works) or Missing Manuals (tutorials & reviews) - both need an update though

Very cute :)
But to render this in Lux? You get old and die in front of your PC till it is finnish.

That is one fantastic video. Like the part where one giraffe looks directly into the camera.....

Awesome video! Thank you for sharing.
My problem would be lack of talent too.

Is it no longer fahionable nowadays to like doing single-frame still portraiture and not be a animation person ?
Innovations in 3D photorealistic software seem to be geared towards creating animated videos, but I prefer just rendering a still piece.
I'd still use the next version of Poser Pro to make single frame portraits.
Granted sometimes, an animated sequence helps capture a single-frame render of say, water splashing, instead of having to paint it in using brushes from an external 2D software.

Kool video :thumbupboth:
Now I want to go swimming.
With credits at the end.
How many people did it take to make this ? How long ?
How big of a render farm ? How long to render ?
What all software was used ?

Incredible, just incredible.

I have to echo RorrKonn. It looks like a production company created the animation, not a hobbyist stitting at home on a core two duo 4 GB RAM laptop like me...
It is cool, though. And at times looked very realistic. Everything was right: the lighting, the textures, the animation.
I am betting that if we pooled our resources, we could create something like this. But since we are all on the internet and not in the same room at the same time, that could be problematic too.

You can buy ,lease render farms.
You can build your own render farms.
You can rent online render farms.
There are realtime render engines.
