As far back as i can remember since i am using Poser this issue has been a puzzle that i can yet not unravel.
Gamma correction seems to improve the overall look on character skin textures...but at the same time it washes out the rest of the elements in the render.
As can be seen on these two renders that i made. The one with GC off shows clear and crisp shaders on all the spheres...e.g. chrome, brass, and paint. But at the setback is that the texture on the characters skin looks washed out and not properly toned.
Now on the other image with GC on is the other way around!...all the shaders on the spheres got washed out...but the skin texture on the character looks much better.
Thus leaving me torn between two worlds!...what to do in a case like this?...how to get the best of both worlds...but in one?...
A question for the seasoned poser veterans!
