Here are a couple more test renders. This set is even more fun than the last one. :-)
Remember still in the early modeling stages. Comments please?

How about some row houses?
DreamlandModels posted Tue, 25 June 2013 at 11:41 PM
Sorry Doc though you were a Mike. So what is your name as my parents taught me to respect others and use their name.
ssgbryan,
There are some row houses in block thirteen and fourteen. Maybe not the type you are thinking of though. I don't want to do row house like the burbs of Chicago as I am trying to maintain a small town feel to this series.
Please don't be offended if I don't always listen to ideas for these sets. :-)

It's ok, although the row houses I was looking at were in Erie, Pa - which qualifies as a small town.
I guess what I was pushing for was more working class neighborhoods, not so much a suburbia look.

Thanks guys. :-)
Bob, if you could take a pic or two and post them in this thread I can see if it is something to add to my block series.

I think you're getting better each set.
Who'd have thought it even possible! ;-)

Thanks for the encouraging words, as it really pumps me up, to keep working harder on these sets.
Fifteen is shapeing up quite nicely with all but one of the 12 Homes and the Gas Station being fleshed out for the general shape with a lot of the detail in place. here is a rough test render so you can see what I am seeing.

These look great! I am looking forward to adding them to my collection.

These are nice, and I like the subdued / weathered colors. I would proably use one block at a time either on the floor as plastic houses on a vinyl / felt mat (for the roads and yards) for a small child and its toy cars or as highly detailed models on a Hot Wheels (tm) car + electric train combination table for older kids to enjoy.
(When I get rich and have a big house, there will be this room, see, with several such interconnected tables and a master control board. Huzzah!)

I do like that chimney gable end brick work there ;)
That should look splendid I think, with some BBGlossy in a Poser render...

Hi EClark1894,All you have to do is google tornado or clouds and you will find them, or at least a bunch of images. Not sure if I should post them here because of possible copy laws. Do not want to make enemies. :-)
Tom
Wow! here is what I see by typing in tornado. See link. :-)
