Whilst admins consider ways to improve the site (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2869540), perhaps they might also:

  1. Reintegrate the low usage Forums "Poser Technical" and "Poser Python Scripting" into this Forum (id=12356). I would find it helpful and time saving.

  2. Remove the usage of "Sticky" threads. Whilst probably done with the best of intentions, the huge size of threads (e.g. "Helping Poser Newbies" - 281 posts, "V4-WM is here - 560 posts) wander widely around the main subject but are almost impossible to follow.

I agree with the generalization...Helping Poser Newbies...Hard to follow.

I disagree.

We are not able to have a Wiki, so the sticky threads are about as close as we can come to having a repository of specialized information.

If someone can suggest a better way to do things WITH THE RESOURCES WE NOW HAVE I'm all ears. The sheer size of the threads drives me nuts as well.
