Poser Pro 2012 64bit, Win 8 Pro 64bit
Hello,
I imported Genesis 1 into Poser using the old method of exporting the CR2 from DAZ studio 4.6 64bit.
For the most part this procedure works fine but the head, hand and feet propagating scales do not work completely. Using these dials only scales the part and not the attached limbs. This leads to discontinuities on the mesh surface.
I suppose this issue is a result of the different joint schemes between Poser and DAZ studio but I would like to know if there is a way of making them work.
I can get DSON to import the model properly but I would like to use the CR2 instead.
Thanks for any information on this,
FlyerX

Can you post up an example? All the scaling I tried with Genesis ends up looking horrid.

I attached previews of the head propagating scale set at 0.3 for all three cases.

Yes, Genesis scaling is still 100% broken in Poser.
Doesn't matter if you load it via cr2 or via DSON.
Several joint fixes are broken, too, causing bulging arms and exploding backsides.
The fix ?
Right now you'd have to create JCM fixes for Poser to fix the bends and redo the scaling from scratch in the joint editor.
And you have to do it for every clothing item, too.
