Thank you yeah have been trying that, seems the way 3Dream had done it was for their hair products but seems were for hr2 type hair was hoping to do something similar with cr2 type hair.. Something that could then share with the community. :)

If it's conforming hair, you have varying joints to contend with.
If it's for a morph (e.g. A4) of the same base figure (e.g. V4) , then you just have to create a morph yourself to inject.
However, if it's for a totally different figure with different rigging (e.g. original hair for V4 but you want to fit it to Miki 4), then that requires major adjustments. Without animating joints in that pose, you can't easily just create a pz2 for conforming hair and get it to fit. RedPhantom is right, the easiest way is to parent the hair to the different head.
The other option is to turn the hair into prop hair (hr2) and then you can easily create pz2s that move the hair into place by translating the x/y/z axes.
A great example of a PA whose sells hr2 hair that does all this is Mairy/3dream/Plus3d hair. They include a conforming version and a prop hair version. I always just use the prop hair version. Take a look at one of those and all the fit poses included for that prop hair. That's a good "learn by example".
If you're just doing this for your own personal use, you might want to check out Netherworks Hair Conversion System 2012/2014 in his store over at RuntimeDNA: http://www.runtimedna.com/Netherworks-Studios/ This will actually help you convert conforming hair to conform to another figure.
Also...here's a rather off-the-wall idea...I have taken hair and run it through Xdresser before to convert from one figure to another. Unless it's very long hair, a lot of times it will come through looking decent.

Ahh cool, thank you for the information, probably just use the hr2 hairs to create pose files. And hopefully place them in the freebie section here soon.
Not to worry I do it all the time.. lol

Hi I am wondering if anyone knows where there us a tutorial on how to create hairfits for various figures and how to save them as pz2 files.
I know it has been done but am unable to find any tutorials on how to do it. I do all what I think is necessary. I then try to save the what I have done as a pose file but when I load and conform and use the pose file it does not work.
All I want to do is to be able to conform the hair of one figure to another and use the pose file to move it into place.
I know I am doing something wrong I am just not sure what it is any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you. :)
