How does one add this content so that the added folders can be seen  in the program files of poser 10?

are you trying to merge an old runtime with a new one or import a new character/texture to your existing runtime?

If you are just requesting how to add an external runtime, then study the included image very closely.  Now if you are specifically inquiring about adding content to a runtime, you should give us more information about your particular issues.  

Are installing from a compressed file or exe installer?  Is the content purchased or freebie?  Which OS platform are you using?

I want to add my Poser 5 Runtime folder containing Viki 4 to Poser 10. Does it go into the P 10 downloads folder- I can't seem to get it there?

I also want to add V4 character (morphs and textures) folders into P10. Where  do I create them and how do I import them?

You have V4 installed in your Poser 5 runtime, right?

So you link your Poser 5 runtime to your Poser 10 the way hborre showed you. Just click the folder with the +, navigate to whereever your Poser 5 runtime is (most likely in ...program filescurious labs or it may be in ...program filesmeta creations

 

Just navigate to the runtime folder and you're all set. It will link the entire runtime to your new Poser. Everythung you had avilable in Poser 5, figures, poses, materials, will now be available in Poser 10.
