I hope this question hasn't been answered already but I was just curious: does DSON Importer not work for Poser Pro 2014? I know it works for Poser 9/Poser Pro 2012 SR3 but I was just wondering if it worked as well for any other poser program there after. I noticed Victoria 6 is released and wanted to use it. Thanks.

Ok the importer did work putting something in but it doesn't show up on the screen. Like the figure loaded but it didnt actually load if you get my meaning. Like its there but I see nothing. Did I install it wrong or what happened?

Ok not a pro..But check toolbar in Poser..Addons...if its there it works..Doesn;t show up on screen....Sure others will help more...I have it working.
Stoppped uising Daz since version 4 but I do have all importing to Poser..

Yeah it shows up on the library that its there but not on the screen when I load it up. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

That almost certainly means you have installed the Poser Companion Files but not the core DSON files - which have the textures and geometry - or that if you did install both the core files are in a folder you didn't add as a library folder for Poser..

And I'm confused on what you mean core DSON files and companion files. Sorry I'm still a noob at this program even after using it so much.

Nvm. I got it to finally work. I didn't have all the GenesisStarterEssential Files installed. Victoria 5 loaded up once I had them installed in. For some reason I thought I had them installed and I didn't. Thanks guys. :)

it's very slow though isn't it. even when you set subd on zero for the vickie 6. unfortunately.
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

Yes, Esther, it's is much slower than in PP2012..

I don't think there is any difference DSON speed between PP2012 and PP2014. Both are slow. The biggest speedkiller is the number of morphs installed for genesis. With the base morphs it is OK. If you add a few packages it gets progressively sllower

The big slowdown is adding active morphs, Wim; it takes about a minute and a half for a single clothed Genesis...
