hi all,
this is to announce a new series of Poser tutorials on my Missing Manuals site, on
Let's say: about the empty virtual studio at Sunday morning, with no models present yet. Intermediate level, some basics, some advanced stuff.
Start http://www.book.artbeeweb.nl/?p=3065, PDF included,
or for more tuts in this area: start http://www.book.artbeeweb.nl/?book=poser-rendering or even http://www.book.artbeeweb.nl/?book-genre=poser
I would be happy with comments, to improve on things. The tuts just reflect what I know about stuff, I'm far from the ultimate guru or so.
More to come? Yes, the Dynamics area (Cloth, Hair) still needs to be finished, interfacing LuxRender and Octane are new areas and Posing / animation as well as Materials are gradually building up.
That's content. But there is form too, as the current set of tuts is rather text & image based, in massive volumes each. This is not the best way for grasping stuff for a lot of people, I know that. Therefor I consider a second approach - aRtBee's Snippets. Each one will be small, on a singular subject, in video-format, available through some YouTube channel.
Now I only need 48 hours a day and an early retirement. In the meantime, you guys & gals have to be patient. Sorry for that. Work in progress. And I like to make renders too... (just upgraded my video boards to speed up Octane).

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.
visit www.aRtBeeWeb.nl (works) or Missing Manuals (tutorials & reviews) - both need an update though
