During our recent hot spell I noticed our vacum cleaner was struggling in the heat. Much like everything else British, which isn't used to anything but rain, the hoover was huffing, puffing and getting rather hot. Which got me thinking...:) What if there was a way of re-using the excess heat from the cleaner to do something useful. The solution... the Mark 1 ToastEVac! This semi autonomous robot is powered by a rear solar panel, which also doubles up as a handy condiment tray for your marmalade, jam, (marmite style jar included in this freebie) or other favourite spread. With an in built crumb detector in the cleaning head, it patrols your house looking for dirt. As it toodles around powered by a small electric motor, any heat created is saved in the T.C.S - Thermal Conductive Store. When activated by voice control, or the free android/iphone app, the T.C.S. starts to toast the bread and speeds to deliver it to you, so you always get delicious hot toast straight to you within seconds. Best of all it hoovers up the crumbs after you've eaten your toast, so theres no mess at all! The app or side controls on the unit allows to select the following... 1. Browning level dial 2. Activate in the in built butter spray. 3. Emergency Toast release. To ensure that dirt and dust from the cleaning section doesn't taint your toast. Two methods are used.... 1. On the rear of the unit theres a filtered dual exhaust and air-intake. 2. The ToastEVac contains a one way membrane. This membrane allows dust free hot air to travel up from the base to heat the toast. plus it acts as a crumb tray as well as stopping crumbs from entering the base. While non removable on the 3d model, on the real ToastEVac this can be slide out for easy cleaning. Note the render here was done using Reality. The freebie only contains .JPG textures to ensure full compatibility with poser, studio, vue and other apps. To get the same shiny look you'll need to replace all the maps (bar the yeast jar label and pipe textures with app specific shaders. Then render using something like a Poser IDL/IBL light set. That freebie reminds me of Noo-Noo from the Teletubbies! :)
Mystery photo, it looks like it may be a 'plane engine, but I think it's in a potential 1000mph car ;)
Especially as the photos are from the Goodwood Festival of Speed :)

Thanks
Not sure about the mystery photo

How are you feeling? I'm good thanks. Off the pain relif now. Did find it interesting that some arty friends said this - and thing like booze and other more illict stuff - is supposed to open up our "third eyes" and make us all artistic. Think mine was wearing shades as it mostly seemed to involve walking into things :) Apart from that all nearly fixed. The menders say one more titchy bit of surgery, perhaps 1 or 2 zapping sessions, at the worst. Which is apparently all normal stuff, nothing to worry about. Indeed even started a new job. Though along with some general feelings on freebies, as expressed in another thread. Doing a few more joint posery things to hopefully cover the costs of freebie hosting. It's likely the freebies are to be a bit sporadic over the next few months, though they'll still be coming. That freebie reminds me of Noo-Noo from the Teletubbies! :) Maybe the painkillers did do something after all :) Mystery photo, it looks like it may be a 'plane engine, but I think it's in a potential 1000mph car ;) Sir you are close - very close :) Keep guessing folks - indeed have as many goes as you like!

Glad to hear that you're feeling better sir! :)
The mystery image looks like the exhaust for a jet turbine engine... but no clue what aircraft it would be from... I'll hazzard a guess at maybe an F-16 or something similar?
*Edit... Got it! F-18 Hornet after-burner unit... ?

This thing looks suspiciously like an ancestor of the Daleks. One of these days it starts toasting its owners instead of bread ...
mrsparky posted Fri, 26 July 2013 at 9:32 PM
Chris - close but no cigar :) Right bit wrong plane - and theres a clue for everyone! BTW - can you email me and remind me about what changes you'd like on your animie girl freebie. DarthJ - now you say that. It does remind me one of the cybermats. Being a 70's kid we had a lot of cool influences that do seep into my work at times. Certainly more than kids today, I feel sorry for them.

Can do... I'de put alot of new freebies out for her and also a few other items... I'll give you a shout in the next day or so :) Loving the Vacu-toaster Bot btw! ;)
Yayyyyyyyyy I got the right part! Now to figure out what aircraft it belongs to... Next guess... the aircraft is an F-15 Eagle or maybe a Tornado?
RFreise posted Sat, 27 July 2013 at 1:51 AM
Wouldn't happen to be a Vulcan would it ?
mrsparky posted Sat, 27 July 2013 at 5:14 AM
Chris - close with the Tornado - but not quite yet :) BTW - can I ask a favour ? As we often do stuff together - and your close to the answer can you hold on the guesses, so someone else can win the prize. Robert - nope. But it's British. Another clue - according to the official website it's got the carbon footprint of 4 lactating cows!
Haruchai posted Sat, 27 July 2013 at 7:23 AM
OK that last clue was a biggie. Actually put 'carbon footprint of 4 lactating cows' into Google and it took me straight to the page. (although the page I landed on said 3.5 cows)
Not going to say what it is so someone else can win as I already got your entire set when you did it for $10 not that long ago.
Just to say it has SSC in the name if I'm right :)
I had been searching Rolls Royce engine images but that didn't come up. Gotta love the image of it parked outside a Ladbrokes next to Porsche. Looks like the two blokes next to it might pop in and put a bet on which one will win the race.

Well, if someone spills the milk that way, I found the Bloodhound 1000mph car googling. That's a lot of speeding tickets. Do I win a lactating cow if I'm right ?
mrsparky posted Sat, 27 July 2013 at 9:49 AM
Haruchai - correcta mundo there. Which kindly makes darthj the winner! Darth - if you can IM me your email address I'll send you a download link. Which actually does include a cow! Though you'll need to get creative if you want it lactating :)
DarthJ posted Sat, 27 July 2013 at 10:29 AM
I don't think that render could be posted here, whatever tag I use.
raven posted Sun, 28 July 2013 at 5:36 AM
Well as no one technically said it was a pic of the EJ200 Eurofighter Typhoon engine, I will just for completeness! :)
