I've tried numerous boots, converting both with WW and the fitting room. No matter what options I use, the following happens:
WW - The boot fits well, except for the human figure's foot. I can make the foot transparent. But as soon as I bend the boot, the heel stretches as if it's connected to the floor.
Fitting room - The heel disappears, and the boot fits with the foot of the boot at about knee level on the human figure.

PhilC has made a specialized shoe converter. Something a bit like Wardrobe Wizard, but aimed specifically at tackling shoes and their problems.

Yes, I remembered that JP tutorial. I am going to try it this evening.
The other odd thing with WW is it can't find the geometry file from the poser figure file, even though the directory path is correct. I have to convert the OBJ instead, and then apply the materials. It's a pain.

Or as mentioned above the boots JP tutorial.

Hope that helps.

Re: the path: I have verified that the OBJ is in the specified folder, and tried both the relative and absolute path. WW still can't find the OBJ file from the CR2.
I have tried pointing to the OBJ file in the character dir, and the OBJ file in the geometries dir (each OBJ file is in both places).
I tried moving the OBJ file to the base c so it's c:WWBootLL.obj, and setting the CR2 to point to c:WWBootL.obj, but WW still says it cannot find the obj.
This is the product: http://www.sharecg.com/v/70538/favorite/11/Poser/Cosplay-Costume-Retro

Looking in the CR2 file I can see the figureResFile line as:-
figureResFile :Runtime:Geometries:Terrymcg:WonderTv:WwBootR.obj
it should be:-
figureResFile :Runtime:Geometries:Terrymcg:WonderTv:WwBootR.obj
There must only be one space between "figureResFile" and ":Runtime". Removing the space and saving the CR2 fixed the issue.
