I'm about to buy it from Amazon, but the info is conflicted.... the choices are "PC"(showing the windows logo only), MAC download, PC Download (also shows windows logo)...
on a seperate page (the "list all for DVD") the product info lists:
Media: DVD-ROM
Platform: Windows Vista / 7, Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard
Previously I had purchased Poser as a disc from Amazon and they have contained both Windows and Mac files...
I ask because I'm a Mac user...
I could probably return the disc (have Prime membership) with no real problems, but I'd just like to know if anyone can confirm if the disc is still dual platform...
Thanks- Vic

There are two separate discs, each for PC & MAC. I have the boxed edition also.

You can get good deals sometimes. Best part, you can pay in installments.

Yes, thanks hborre... there are two seprate discs!... I'm stupid, I left the Windows disc with the box and keep the Mac disc with my other software discs on my desk rack (disk holder... not the streachy type rack).
I guess you are saying then yes, 2012 boxed version still has both platforms... this seem to be what I see on PurPlus...
Which... THANK YOU 3doutlaw, is much cheaper!
I think I'll be ordering it from Purplus!
Thank you both!!

My historic price chart shows it dropping daily for the past week on amazon, so who knows, but I'd be surprised if it gets lower than purplus. ($75 is my buy-in :tongue1: )

Thanks for pointing that out... I was really hoping to at least get it for $90, because a couple of months ago SM sent me a newsletter about a special sale, I found it too late and missed out... $98 is close enough... $80 would be better...
I'm no fan of Amazon... it's my wife's subscription and anything I ever want to buy from them, I always can find on my own for at 10-20% cheaper (including shipping costs)... sometimes its just easier/quicker... but I'd rather save the cash.
I will hold off for a couple of days... Purplus seems to be a stable price, and Amazon did go from $134 yesterday to $124 today... doubt it would beat $98... but who knows.
I'll knaw on my keyboard if I miss out and Purplus goes up or runs out!

I bought Poser Pro 4 and have upgraded every time ever since. Always through digital river or the manufacturer. Currenly its SM as we all know. I think I did the digital download for 2012 and the options at the download page after I paid SM included Mac and windoze and linux. For 2014, I paid for the box version. All I got were two dvd's. No manual ( was pdf). Two disks. One was Win, one is Mac/Universal. I think the Universal is Linux.

You might want to consider checking ebay. I got my Poser 2012 there in a sealed box with 2 dvd's.
