I mainly use Poser and Vue and have not used DAZ for a number of years. However Daz  4.6 is free so I decided to try it again. I linked my Poser content without any problems but the "search" function in the Content Library Pane did not return any results.  So I thought that perhaps it only searches in categorized items. So I decided to create a category and move an item to it. A right click on Categories then choosing "create a sub-categort" results in a dialog box where I am invited to  enter a sub-category name. However this results in an error:

"Unable to create container:"

I have 2 questions:

• Does Daz only search in categorized items

• How do I create a sib-category

Thank you. The problem was connected to the CMS. I deleted 4.6, turned off my virus software, reinstalled 4.6 as administrator. Still didn't work. I then stopped CMS, deleted the content database, restarted CMS and 4.6 and bingo the two problems were solved.
