I was cleaning my computer and came across this little tidbit. It's a lighting tutorial that 3D World magazine commissioned me to do. It doesn't show some of the cool features like negative lights – but it shows some decent tricks.
The movie I uploaded to here: http://youtu.be/-S8xSrtNnOo
The following images show the scene unlit and untextured, then lit but with texture lighting effects, and finally the whole scene.
Let me know if you have any questions.

I haven't been able to watch the whole thing as its grabbing right now. Thank you! Is the Scene available or the objects by chance? (if the assets are in a 3dworld issue, could you give us that issue #/Date )
Thanks again!

Mark, I know you do video tutorials, and there are quite a lot of video tutorials out there. But I need text with arrows and circles. Can you recomend some good tutorials of that sort?

I'm not sure, but I think I have the mag this tutorial was in. I'm lazy though, so having the video here is much easier than digging for the magazine.
Thanks. :)

Xerxes0002 - Yea, I can bundle up the files and post back with a link.
**manleystanley - **did you mean this tutorial specifically or tutorials in general? Written tutorials are harder to come by because they take about 5 times longer to produce. I do have the written version of this one with screen grabs though.

And, here's the link to the textured Carrara file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o2jpzj8vwvyavma/CryoTextured.car
Use it in good health. And, post back some images if you re-light it!

Thank you very much! That was extremely kind of you to do as well.
I will post once I get things downsized in the house a bit more.
Thanks again
