Subject: trying to use a daz HDRI with the free BB envsphere

Hi, I have used several HDRIs successfully with the BB envsphere, but for some reason the small space HDRIs designed for bryce, carrara etc, just dont' work properly.

see all the distortion. I tried some different focal lengths but couldn't fix it.

In this one the focal lenth is 11

oh the image was too big.  but I just used the carrara HDRI instead of the bryce one and actually it seems okay.

dunno why the carrara ones worked and not the bryce ones.

weird.  but anyway it's working now.

Using a wider lens angle should correct that, however it could, potentially, distort objects closer to the lens.
