Just bought Reality 3 for poser and Im using it in from poser 2014 SR 3 . Any figure that uses sss shaders is coming out grey , I am using the mesh lighting that comes with Reality , everything else in the render is fine just the skin is grey , abit like the first pass in poser when it calculate sub surface scattering , but this is remaining even after several hours rendering when everything else is looking perfect any idear what I am doing wrong?

Do you have non-SSS shaders for that skin?  Reality creates it's own SSS, and the simpler the shader in Poser the better Reality reads and translates it to its own materials.  You don't really need much more than the colour and bump maps connected.

It's also hard to diagnose the problem without seeing the settings in Reality.  Is your specular colour really light?  I think Reality's default is 64:64:64.  Or is the diffuse map being overwhelmed by colour math?

As this was my first time everything is at the default settings I dont know where to change the specular colour , I have tried a non sss shader and that works with no problems

Problem is exposure.  You appear to be using Linear exposure.

Try using Auto-Linear or Reinhard non-linear (depending on how you are doing your lighting)

One other thing, check the luxrender log for errors.

Turbo mode doesn't support all materials so you should not use that with SSS

Thats useful to know because I remember i did tick turbo mode, i will remember not to do that next time.
