Hey Crew,  Not very "Tech Savvy".  Hard drive failure - in the process of restoring it.  Trying to get the purchased products previously downloaded from the DAZ site to install to P-10 on an external hard-drive.  The files downloaded have the "zip file" icon instead of the typically expected auto-install icon.  Tried the DAZ installer, result is some files show up in the library with what I call the "uh-oh" dude icon, while other downloads don't show up.  Inital question: what path to specify for installing to P-10 (runtime or content folder)?  Sorry for the bother - inputs are greatly appreciated!  BP

For the DAZ zip files, you need to download the DAZ Install Manager (DIM) and configure it to install to your content directory or other additional runtimes that you choose.

"content directory"  that's what I was looking for, Thanks Much!

You can also manually unzip, then just move everything from the Content folder that the zip creates to your actual content directory (easy On Windows, requires care to make sure you don't overwrite the existing folders on a Mac).

Have you still got a folder with all the previous external runtimes  It is easy to get poser 10 to recognize all of them if you own advanced library manager at rdna by semidieu.

It will attach all of them to P10 in a single hit.

If you really want to install all over again then use the DIM from daz.  there is alittle gear icon top right and if you look at the menu items in there it will help you.

If you are still having trouble I am happy to send you screen caps.
