Well, even though I hardly use them these days, I was pleasantly surprised that after the latest updates GENESIS and GENESIS II finally bend as good in Poser as they do in Studio.
The Single-Axis-Scaling is still hosed, but this is easier to fix than having to re-create all the bulge-mapping because the DSON importer used to be able to only convert the "raw" weightmapping.
So, Yay !, no more bulging shoulders and lumpy thighs for Genesis.
As long as the DSON subdivision is switched off and Poser's native "Unimesh skinning" subdivision is used, GENESIS handles as easily in the OpenGL preview as any other figure mesh does.
Good to see that there still is real technical progress made, even though DAZ takes it's sweet time to do so.
Let's hope that the scaling will be fixed one day "soon", too.
;-)

I'm not familar with witch updates you're talking about. When did an update for Genesis come out? Or is there a new DSON?

I'm not really following the DAZ update schedule either, but I redownloaded DSON as well as the Genesis I and II installers a few days ago, and the "lost bulge-map" problems Genesis has been plagued with in Poser were gone.

It's good she now works pretty well in Poser, but it makes one all the more long for a native Poser figure of comparable quality.

DSON was updated.
