I am using windows 7 x86 and poser pro 2012. all the sudden today poser would stop right after it started. I have not had this problem every since I have had it. I first un-installed poser and started with a fresh install. the same problem happened again. I then thought maybe adobe air was at fault so I changed it to the newest version and poser would work. however it created another 2012 folder within poser pro 2012 folder. I then saved my runtime and deleted everything after un-installing poser. I then re-installed poser and replaced my runtime. I started poser and I am back to the same problem with it stopping after starting
does anyone have a suggestion? thanks for your help

You update Flash recently? Or NOT update Flash?
Since you're using the 32 bit version of Poser Pro you need Flash.

I am using the 64 bit version and all along I would not allow poser to install the 32 bit portion. it has been working that way for every since 2012 came out
I have flash but have not tried updating. usually flash will tell me to update
I mentioned x86 above but actually it is 64 bit

I was able to resolve the problem by deleting existing preferences during installtion of poser, but unless the preferences had got damaged somehow, I do not know if was the first problem. it is working now so I am a happy poser again
thanks for your response

I currently have the same problem, but this seems to have started since IE updated. Uhmmm, I'll have to clean some stuff too I supose, good to hear it worked for you. :)

I did not clean anything, but I did remove my runtime and saved it to put back after poser was working.
when one installs poser there is an option to remove preference files, back them up, and or keep them.
that is the only thing I did not keep

Seems there's a problem with the lastest Microshaft Windoze update borking Poser.

The problem is in the IE update. I had a problem with it until I uninstalled that, going back to IE 9 did the trick.
