Have a pretty good start on City Block Eighteen.
Will be similar to Block Thirteen in that it will be all homes.
Here is a look at what I have on one side of the block.
As usual this is just a test render in 3D Studio Max 2014

Great modeling, although the poor gent on the left looks to be having a rather painful interaction with the picket fence there. ;-)

Thanks guys.
Here is another one of the homes.
This Home has about 40 plus material zones on it. Each of the floors has a different siding along with the foundation all being mapped with a 36 x 36 x 36 UVW modifier. That way you could use a brick on the whole home and have it all line up correctly.
Have 7 homes just about complete.
7 More to go.
Total 14 homes as far as I can tell so far.
Will just have to wait and see.
Maxxmodelz, he is just itching a hard to reach place.

The sun will kill vampires. You always have cloudy skys and no sun.
So vampires would be safe in your neighborhood.

I'm kind of curious to know what you use to model your houses? I"m an architecture student and use Revit extensively and am looking for an easy(ier) way to get my houses from Revit to Poser so that I can see what they look like when Reality and Luxrender get ahold of them.

I use 3D Studio Max Design 2014

Well I just imported into Poser with this set and here is one of the 14 homes in the set.
Shown with my Chevy Pickup.
Hope to have this set in the store by the end of the week, as long as my brain holds out. Been a month and a half on this puppy. :-)

might be the camera angle, but the opening in the garage looks lower then the top of your panel truck. Just pointing out something you might check.

It is a 7 foot door which puts old cars as a very tight squeeze, if at all. That panel Van is 7'3 tall.
You have a good eye.
I will use a shorter vehicle in the future sir. :-)

Should also mention that most homes are built with a 7 foot high garage door.
RorrKonn posted Fri, 13 December 2013 at 1:56 AM
My old house was built around the turn of the 19th centery.
Nothing in it is standared ,not the doors, windows ,studs ,furnace ,nothing.
Can't even buy parts for the toilet.
If ya took a about 8 modern day furnces and set them 2 wide 4 long thats about the size of my furnace. They had to of brought the parts in & assemble the furnace in the basement.
So I can't go to no store and just buy anything for it.
Have no idea why but we have the electric power come in the back of the house with big fuses then it runs to the side wall & up towards the front of the side wall we have another fuse box with little fuses that all the wires run threw the house from there.
My water meter is in the back yard ,3 houses down LOL.
Anyways if ya ever model any 1890,s houses I wouldn't bother with standards or logic.
Just think what a house built why ya dringing lighting would look like.
My Grandma's garage doors open like barn doors.ah the left ones was about 8 feet 6 inches.
The right one was about 8 feet 9 inches,it set on a hill.
