The parameter dials and, in particular, the little "nudge" arrows at the right and left are just too small for me. How can I resize them? I've been playing around with the .psd and .xml files in C:Program FilesSmith MicroPoser 9Runtimeui but maybe someone can give me a more direct method. (This is for Poser 9)

Check Netherworks Studio over at RDNA.  He may have what you are looking for.

it's possible.  i accidentally resized the shadow background under the dial.

there's more conversation bout xml psd files in the 'Poser for visually impaired' thread, don't have the bookmark handy.

Well, here is my solution so far. In a text editor open parmDialPrefs.xml (find it in ...Program FilesSmith MicroPoser 9Runtimeui).  Find the widgets named dialNudgeL and dialNudgeR and change their "right" setting from 5 to 10:

        <Widget name="dialNudgeL"  pictRes="26011"  command="9001"  pinID="1"  pinTop="3"  pinLeft="1"  pinBottom="3"  pinRight="1"  left="0"  top="0"  bottom="10"  right="10"  rect.left="0"  rect.top="0"  rect.right="5"  rect.bottom="10"  color="-1"  fadeMax="0"  tile="1"  useRectClick="1" />
        <Widget name="dialNudgeR"  pictRes="26012"  command="9001"  pinID="1"  pinTop="3"  pinLeft="1"  pinBottom="3"  pinRight="1"  left="0"  top="0"  bottom="10"  right="10"  rect.left="0"  rect.top="0"  rect.right="5"  rect.bottom="10"  color="-1"  fadeMax="0"  tile="1"  useRectClick="1" />

Notice how that gives you double right and left arrows, which was not really intended, and twice the clickable area horizontally. You can do the same thing vertically, but then you have to resize the vertical spacing of the entire dial. I think this is all I need for now.

Oh, yeah. Backup before messing with the xmls.

Semidieu's Advanced Figure Manager2 at RDNA might do the trick for you.

The Parameters addon:

That’s perhaps the most important here! Just select a parameter (name or value) and use one of the FOUR ways to change the values:

I bolded the feature I use the most. Easy.

i7 6800 (6 core/12 thread), 24 GB RAM, 1 gtx 1080 ti (8GB Vram) + 1 Titan X (12GB Vram), PP11, Octane/Poser plugin, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Oh, and a wiener dog!
