I revisited an older work from a 5.5 (I think) render and brought it into 7.1 Pro.I became interested in IBL after seeing these videos by Horo.
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

quite amazing....as I said in my comment, how long a rendertime with that method...also all IBL or did you add lights as well?

they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

A little over 2 hrs. on an i7 quad core laptop.

have you ever tried HRDShop...a used to be free (very expensive now) app for making HRDI probes and the like...? Sometimes you can find an old free version being shared...got mine back in Imagine3D days when it was still free and we were trying to do HDR vrenders in Imagine3D; and the shop was instrumental in any success any of us had.

Actually, I used an HDR file that came with Poser 9. :laugh:
