I still struggle with DazStudio 4.6:-)

I have installed V 4.2 and the morph pack.. I see the paths are ok, but can't see V4.2 base in there??

I have used install manager to install V4 so it should be right??

See picture.. All the paths are ok, but don't find V 4.2 base??

As its a cr2 file type you will need to look under the Poser Formats section.

If everything is set up correctly you should find it here. It may be under the Poser Format/My Daz 3D Library section as well as I installed it manually a long time ago.

Hope this helps :)

I did what you said and found V4 base..

BUT

I then go to "pose" and inj base and morphs..But it's just the base options in the parameter.. The morphs +++ don't apply to her??

I think it's frustrating to work with this program:-( To inj the morphs is the easiest thing I do in Poser.. After struggling sooo much with DS 4.6 I don't ever think I will use sooo many hours to get my new V4 work inside DS..
This is one of the reason that make a vendor don't make a character to work inside DS but just Poser i think:-(

If you have V4 set up ad working for Poser then it would be simplest just to point DAZ Studio to the same external library and share the files - right-click on Poser Formats in the last screenshot, then select Add runtime Directory, and select the folder that contains the actual "Runtiem" folder as you do when adding a location to Poser.

Normally, when you load V4.2, the PowerLoader sould open where you can select all possible morphs for V4.2 that are suported by the Power Loader.

Power Loader is however a separate install, for V4 base (to add the script and support files) and for the morph sets (to add the thumbnail and friendly description - otherwise it has only the product code and no thumbnail image).

Clearly the paths are not okay if you can't DS can't find things.  Post a screen shot of your Content Directory Manager with the DAZ Studio and Poser formats expanded.
