I am working on illustrating a book with the same character.

After I have created my  character with one of the kids 4 figures, spending a long time getting the face to look the way I want - how do I save these parameters now to apply to the same figure in a new Poser document, so I don't have to redo everything over and over again.

I can't figure that one out. I bet it is really simple. Can anybody help?

Thanks,

Anne

Try saving to the Poser expressions library. Or just save the whole figure to the figure library.

This is what PhilC is suggesting above...

I've had success using the "PoseWriter" script that comes with PP 2012. You can save whatever parameters of the head and body you choose. I'm thinking it would have a smaller file size than saving a whole figure and you could apply it to already posed figures.

You could also export the head as an object checking ONLY "As Morph Target" in Export Options. Then go to properties and click  "Load Morph Target".
