As a neophyte poser (I've been using it for almost 2 weeks), I found this video very helpful. I look forward to more...

"Premium" Tutorial is a bad name.  'Premium' actually means that you need to pay;

pre·mi·um

ˈprēmēəm/

noun

noun: premium; plural noun: premiums

  1. an amount to be paid for an insurance policy.
  1. a sum added to an ordinary price or charge.

So,  I presumed that was the case when I saw the ad the other day; I had no idea they were free until I popped in here to hassle Doug about a commercial post... 😉

LOL I had the same thought when I saw "premium"

but after asking in the other thread its just a structured way of learning!

good idea maybe a bad choice of name, time will tell

lets hope no one avoids the thread because they cant afford it ;-)

PilotHigh posted Mon, 20 January 2014 at 6:42 PM

I didn't even click on it because it said premium!

It's a great idea. But I find the accent quite hard to understand. Could you possibly get people to speak a bit more slowly when they record these?

SoulTaker posted Fri, 14 February 2014 at 2:29 PM

ok what gives.

Iget an email dated the 10th. (I dont sit at my pc every day.)

"Renderosity would like to invite you to take your POSER skills to the next level by participating in this 12-month comprehensive video tutorial lesson. Whether you're a budding digital hobbyist or a seasoned professional, we're confident that you'll find something you can add to your list of tips and tricks.

Lesson 2 is now available and, in this tutorial, Mark is going to show you how to better manage your runtime(s) to make your workflow more efficient."

but when i click the link I get

Product Expiration Notice Your license for the "tutorial_premium" product has expired.

No record of completed purchase.**

**Please contact this site's support department for further assistance. Are the vids only up a day or two?

Maybe the link in the email was incorrect. I was just watching it. Try this link http://www.renderosity.com/mod/tutorial_premium/index.php?page=video&video=5

You can also get to them by clicking on the tutorials menu at the top on the page. The click on the premium tutorials. If that doesn't work, try contecting one of the admins directly.

Not that I need a tutorial, but what the heck are the programmers around here doing exactly? Do you pay them in M&Ms? I hope so.

"one of the below options" - obviously the programmers are also non English speakers.

Also, they can't seem to count. The only option is close. That's one option, not options.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Works fine in Firefox, have not checked it in others.

In all fairness, there are two close buttons in your screenshot...

I was thinking Skittles... lol...
