file_501304.jpg

Modeled in 3dsmax 2012, rendered in Octane Render.

A neo-classical piano stool, inspired by victorian stylings, with tufted plush cushion and intricate spiral woodwork. This model is available in several scaled .obj file formats, for importing into other applications like Blender, Poser, or Daz-Studio. The model has been UVunwrapped, and comes complete with detailed texture maps for all parts. Each map is provided in maximum JPG format, at a resolution of 2048x2048; suitable for most close-up rendering. Textures include maps for the diffuse color, specular, glossy, and bump material channels. The glossy map is intended for use with glossy (blurry) reflections, and combined with the bump map, make for a more realistic wood and fabric material. All preview renders were created using the same maps provided with the model. Seamless procedural materials will also work fine on this model, and can be used in place of the provided texture maps if necessary.

This model is intended for high resolution rendering and visualization, and may not be suited for real-time game engines, without some geometry optimization. The object contains a total of 42,566 polygons, and 43,022 vertices. The model is 99% quad polygons, and only 32 triangles. There are no polygons in this model that exceed 4 sides.

*All preview renders were made with the Octane render engine, using the maps provided.   Please review the special instructions in the README.txt for successful OBJ import at the intended scale.

You are free to use or modify this model as you see fit for your own projects or scenes. As with all my freebies, this model can be used for both commercial and non-commercial renders. You may NOT, however, resell these objects, or any derivative of them; individually, or as part of a package/set.

You can download this model in OBJ format from Renderosity's Freestuff here.

Optionally, you can also download this model from the following resource websites, as well as view more preview renders and wireframes:

Turbosquid.com
CGShare.com

Thank you, as always, for the comments and feedback.  I hope you find this model useful in some way in your renders, and if there's any problems or questions at all, pleast don't hesitate to contact me here on Renderosity, or via email.

The native .max scene file is pending approval as well, for all Max users.
