Ok i've had this problem for the past 6 months...I have loaded v4 and m4 with all their morphs ++ and elite downloads. All their files are in the same folder. I run the initialization command for both characters. Then when I load their morphs like muscles and big hands or whatever. The morph loads into poser and I get all the dials, then when I move the dial their head and shoulders adjust but everything else seems to be still locked. It has to be something simple that I have overlooked but I've been trying to get these things to work but cannot figure it out.

Is this from a saved scene or loading the figure up from scratch? If it's from a saved scene, it is likely because of having binary morph targets enabled; they don't play nice with the Gen 4 figures. Make sure they are disabled by unchecking it in General Preferences...

Ok I tried that...I unchecked the binary morph targets and opened up a brand new project. But still the same result. The dial will go left to negative but not to positive. Everything seems to be still locked somehow.
This is a dumb question but i've always been confused on where to put the files to make them show up. I usually just put them in a folder I created and click add runtime to library. All the other props and morphs work fine but the morps ++ don't work. so far thanks for your help.

You may have to uninstall it and reinstall in a DEFAULT folder...
If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.

That's how I do it, too. What version of Poser? This should work fine with any version of Poser after Poser 7 SR-3. Note that I'm on Windows, but if you can install there, I don't expect that permissions would be an issue.
If you haven't, make sure your Poser is fully updated...

EDIT; it's probably not the problem, but make sure Use Limits on the Figure menu is unchecked...

As long as V4/M4 are in the same folder as their morphs everything is in order. However, initialization must be performed after each morph pack is installed; don't install all the morph packs at once then run initialization. The old installers had that feature automated, not so with the zipped files.
Any newly created folder for Poser must have the runtime folder also created within. Then all content must be placed into the runtime.
