I was feeling a bit burnt-out with creating freebies for Poser. I took a bit of a break to re-group my energies and think.

For the immediate future, I am going to focus on my music for a while - hopefully making some background music that can be used as soundtracks for animations and other movies. I am working on a collection of instrumental tracks that will eventually be made available commercially through YURdigital, but there is a learning curve - it will take me a while to get a package together.

I am also working on another book, and once I have some ideas again, there will be Poser content created for the illustrations in that book. The items made for the Daz Generation 3 figures will be made available as free items, but I may need to sell some of the other content - props, plants and clothes for the newer figures. Any painted character textures I make will still be free items. With the South African exchange rate the way it is and no end in sight, I can't just keep buying Poser stuff and giving everything I make away.

So you can still expect some freebies from me, but not soon, and not at the same rate.

And who could have any objections to that?

Go for it! Getting away from the 3D medium is a healthy thing. You can clear your mind. I know that for awhile, I was looking at everything from a modeler's standpoint, seeing how it was constructed, decorated, et al. I realized I was doing that and I put things down for awhile too.
