For simplicity, assume I want to create a taur.

The following steps are needed:

1a - Chopping the upper half from an existing figure

1b - Chopping the lower half from an existing figure

2 - Reconnecting/parenting

3 - Getting a decent joint of the composed figure.

Surely there are detailed tutorials (and I mean step by step :-) ) floating around the Net? 1a/b isn't the problem, I meanwhile mercylessly frell around in the CR2 :-) But I never ever used the grouping tool for 2 yet, and what do I have to know on Weld and Taper for point 3?
