Hello.

BG info: I am just an Amateur/Hobbyist

Been self learning C4d/3d/Gfx since Oct 2010.

I was a big fan of Battlestar Galactica during the original airings in 1978.

Still am. The New BSG does not sit real well with me, though I do consider it a good show. But it missed all that the original had. Hope for one.

I am proud of this effort so far. It really is some of the best I can do.

Just a Big Old Kid playing with his Virtual Toys. :D

So much has been occurring during this, I am not sure what to actually say about it.
Other than "I like it a lot" myself. so far anyhow.

I got matrix style cam pivot (freeze), some good animation so far and a good video.
Hail to the rookie! lol

I hope you like the video, and if you do, then good :D
I like doing this, and I hope others enjoys it also.

Done entirely in C4d. I only Photoshopped out the Big Bullets when exploding.

But if you really like it give me thanks for sharing thought, it will warm my heart :D

Best Regards,

Randal R.

Hi

Really great.

I did an animation of a blimp in space orbiting a planet in a starry sky in Poser and I thought it was a big deal.

All I had was a rotating planet and a blimp. LOL

This was great. and I know how much work it was to do.

Mike

If you shoot a mime, do you need a silencer?

Great job on this.  While I too am a fan of the original series, the new one did have better CG work (Doug Drexler) and of course the tech has changed drastically since the original!

Well done!

If you need some inspiration for additional tools for post work but can't afford or justify (or figure out how to use) After Effects, give Howler a try, free home learning edtion.

Thanks to each that replied, I sincerely appreciate it. Glad you like it so far.

I hope to actually do some major Ship fighting, to which I really have never done, and not knowing much about AE and doing Post Effects, I got to it all in 3d.

It will be achallenge for me.

@ --Mike, I used Poser C4d Plugin for My original Cylons Centurions Animations. ( for C4d R10)

Also had the Demo Poser Plug in for C4d R13 which I am currently using.

I found that animating with Poser is a serious challenge.Good for you for even trying

The Stand Alone may be different than Plug-in but it is very hard to work an animation timeline with it I think.

 @--staigermanus

I have seen Howler mentioned a few times, will have to look into it. Thnks

Will try and add more posts as I make more video and Update current.

Thanks Again,  Often no one says anything and the maker has no clue as to what others think, I already know what I think,,:D

Regards,
