I am going to put together the Badest CGI crew that anyone has ever seen.We are going to make awesome meshes "nothing less will do" ,worthy of any and all CGI Galleries. I don't care what experience you have or what app's you use to model ,map ,texture etc etc with . I just care about what you can do & how fast you can get it done. So a post of your gallery's showing what you can do would be cool.

I model ,that's all I really care to do.
but there's nothing I can't model ,fast.
So if all you care to do is
Model
Map
Texture
Make Displacement Maps .Really need some one killer with zBrush or MudBox.
Rig for just a certain apps. If one rigger rigs for Poser and another rigs for Max ,cool.
Morphs
That's cool.

Thought we could start with some simple meshes
and after we got it together make more complex meshes like characters.

Heh, I thought you were talking about a different Crue! :) Because I sure could use a Nikki Sixx look alike.....

And here I was thinking this was somehow related to the upcoming driving game for PS4 and XBox1 :)

 

Anyway, good luck with putting together this crew, sounds very interesting.

Would it not make more sense, that if you enjoy modelling that you make morphs for dawn and dusk rather than trying to introduce yet another new figure?

The HW already have a very strong crew making the figures..they just need the support to keep them active and vital to the poser community.

 

Last thing the poser community needs is another new figure with minimal support.

Ye, I'd work on an existing platform than rather start a soon to be dead "new figure" with no support from 3rd party.

I wish I'd never heard about that bloody horse -- or about Darren, for that matter. I think it's better to keep things secret until they are just about ready to be released, otherwise the year long wait makes some folks antsy, and if someone steps in and makes something that catches their eye in the meantime, they might just jump ship.

For instance, I just bought another horse while I was waiting for "Harry".  

Edit: And while I was waiting for Darren, um, now Dusk -- I discovered Genesis 2 Males (which is good, because it means I'm using Genesis as well, and can enjoy your creations, Raw). 

It's a race to the finish in this market, I tell ya. A race.

LOLOLOL. Actually, they did. I have seen references to the "S-word" in their forums. And Daz does seem to be running a tighter ship these days. :D :D

Mec4D was making a character called Darren for Dawn, according to a thread in the forums. Just before she released it, however, it was decided (by whom, who knows?) that it was better not to "mix the Dawn gene pool" and she would wait for Dusk to be ready. So I assume she's converting him for use with Gen 2, which means, I suppose, as soon as he's released, I'll be able to use him right away, rather than waiting for a Hivewire version.

All of you including Chris Creek & Mec4D are killer CGI Artist .
So hopefully one day I'll model something that you think is killer enough to party with Atomic Hell.
I know some take all this extremely seriously.
I'm just hear to have some fun ,hopefully with some other killer CGI Artist while where making some Wicked Kool Meshes.
