Long before PC's & the Web & CGI App's if you wanted something other then censored rated G super hero's.
Starving Artist was a common saying.
It was a major effort to make cool Art & to find other cool Artist.
About all we had was Heavy Metal Magazine.
& if you made it to the cover of Heavy Metal ,then you made it.
To name a few Luis Royo ,Boris Vallejo.
So the empire of Art we have to day ,Heavy Metal played a major role in laying the foundation.
