I used to have a python script that enabled multiple items to be deleted from a scene in one go. It must have been for Windows only though as its not there on my Mac version of P10. I'm a rubbish programmer and wouldn't really know where to start to write my own so does anyone know if there's on around anywhere?

Scene fixer by Snarlygribbly might work. He was trying to get it working on mac http://snarlygribbly.org/3d/forum/

Demensions3d's script is supposed to work on a mac http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/?item_id=37118

Ta all, the first link worked fine. The second one complains about something called TKInter. I'm guessing its because I'm using a 64 bit O/S. Anyway I'll use the first one but I'll definitely look at Scenre Toy.

Thanks.

D3D's script likely for P8 or earlier (OS X).

I use advanced figure manager by semidieu.  One can, in an instant, delete multiple figures or props or just change their visability, or parent a whole lot of things to a prop eg the grouping thingy - i love this script so much.  I'll try and find a link for you guys.
