Ha Clive what a great opening to this new month with your funny dogs. It looks like a funny scene of a movie to me.

I will do my best for this 'D'-challenge, my friend.

Bye, bye (Dutch: 'dag, dag'!)

Thank you.  This was a challenging composite.  The image would have been easier to build if I had done the layers from 6 to 1, in order instead of 1 to 6.

HINT:  Notice the 5 people in the water and the 6 people on the bleachers in the composite and the originals.

Jeff - make sure that your images conform to the size. Remember they need to be NO LARGER than 800pixels x 600pixels and no larger than 200KB.

There should not be any other reason why you cannot upload here.

Apart from the KB size, is it equal to or smaller than 800x600 pixels?

@ Jeff:  Your text appears with no picture, right?  Sometimes if I link to a forum thread via a bot, I can't get my picture to post.  Try getting here "manually."  Go to the forum page, open the photography section, click on this thread ... and try again.  It's the only way I've found to get a picture posted when that happens.  Hope this helps!  If that doesn't work, you can start a thread in the Community Center forum and get Tina to work on it for you, or see if you can directly contact that aliens that live in our computers and ask them nicely if they'll quit screwing around with you.  :P

WOW, what great idea's again for this 'D'-challenge.

@ Jim, I've never seen young dove's such close.

@ Garageland, I can see on their faces, it really was a dragon-race.

@ Ronny, Thank you for your explanation with regard to the English underwear. Long John's, yes, now that you mention it, I had heard this name before, but never seen, an Englishman with legs (and what else?) in it. :)

@ Jeff, What an unlucky person you are, my friend. And we here too, because we miss your grandson, and the double decker.

And regarding Clive's last post....:
The only thing that I need to do is making several pictures from the garden of my neighbour. Oh well, one would be enough to frighten you all!

Sadly I have to report that one of the babies didn't survive a storm the other night.  I found it on my deck about 20 feet away.  I haven't seen the mother or other baby since then.  They are no longer in the next even though the nest survives.

I chose not to photograph the Dead baby Dove for this challenge.

D is for Dead in the Desert :/

We were Driving through the Desert, when I said "stop!  I need to take a photo here."

Oh boy, the 4 wheel drive got stuck in neutral, we weren't moving at all!  Eeeek, a little bit of panic, no cell service, we were probably about, 6 miles from the highway and it was about 102! The only good thing ..we did have water.

My husband says, "We're screwed (language cleaned up...lol)"  and I said, "You can fix it".   So, my husband finds some big rocks, blocks the tires, and crawls under the jeep to look around.  After a couple minutes, I hear "oh I see the problem". Some stupid cable pin thing jiggled out and the shifter cable became unhooked.  I hopped in the driver seat, to move the shifter around, and my wonderful smart handy dandy husband fixed the cable :)

And that is my MisAdventure of the week :)
