Hello again.  Apparently my need for abuse by software minimum has not been met so far this month.

I've installed LuxRender and I keep getting an .exe error that says "The program can't start because OpenCL.dll is missing from your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."  Did that, no joy.  I'm running Windows 7 on an eMachine.  I have DAZ Studio 4.6, Poser 2012, Blender, and a couple of other programs.  Plenty of RAM.

Downloaded the software from the corporate website.

Suggestions?

From the Luxrender web site:

"If you get a message about a missing “opencl.dll” file, either update your graphics drivers or try the No OpenCL version."

So maybe see if there are any driver updates available for your graphic cards or try the No OpenCL version.

Which is also available for download here.

Hello.

You need to install the non-OpenCL version.

Cheers.

OpenCL is a standard similar to OpenGL that is allows the GPU to be utilized more like a CPU.  Your eMachine's graphics card/chip may not be OpenCL ready.
