Ez skin with Genesis 2 models

I have a question, ¿you can use the EzSkin with Genesis2 models? (female and male) because they do not know if I'm doing something wrong but I can not use them, I believe that Genesis 1 I had set the figure as Gen4 and work (I'm not 100% sure but I think it was like that) but I can not do this, ¿you know if there is any impediment?

thanks in advance

You can use EZ skin on whatever figure you like. If EZ skin says the figure is unsupported you can define a new figure using the Editor tab. I am sure if you seach the forums you will find masses of information about EZ skin. This site and RuntimeDNA. EZ skin is indispensable.

Converting skin texture for G2F with EZSkin is different than normally encountered with the other models.  Genesis 2 has a unique material zone naming convension which means when you apply V4 skin textures, for example, you generate a duplicate set of material zones that is not recognized by Poser.  The following link to the DAZ forum will clarify how to effectively do the conversion.  However, you will need to install DAZStudio and purchase other scripts to get good results.

Here's a figure definition file that covers both G2F and G2M. Save it somewhere and do a File > Import Figure Definitions in EzSkin and point it to this file. Select both and import them.

Remove the .txt from the file name so it ends in .cfg

First at all , Thank you very much to all for the reply and special  to **Vaskania ** for the G2M and G2F definitions

Anyway I  tell you that playing around with the EzSkin learned to do it for any figure (I honestly do not need to do anything special **borre **and works with G2F and G2M too )

First go to the material editor, there say figure "figure not supported" if the definition is not charged for that figure

All materials will be "Ignore"

select all that are skin (torso arms hands face etc. .. also work for any type of genitals) and selected in the combo box at the bottom left of the "Skin" type
then "apply shader"

(if we use it again then save it (save definition as and name it y )

that's all

ps. I recommend using the definitions  upload for  **Vaskania ** that are complete (not just skin) I put the guide if you want to use another figure not supported

Yea, creating definitions are pretty simple. I think I even made one for Pippin at one point. lol

You're welcome for the upload. :)
