Hi there...
I downloaded a free car prop from this website and it is in the .obj file format...meaning that supposedly it would have to work in Poser...right?...but i have no idea how to install it...

OBJ files are standard interchange files for 3D assets. They are used to exchange 3D assets between different programs.
To import it in Poser use the File | Import | Wavefront OBJ menu.
Good luck

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.
visit www.aRtBeeWeb.nl (works) or Missing Manuals (tutorials & reviews) - both need an update though

I downloaded their Batman.7z; seems to import o.k. (BatmanArmoured.obj), but may need tweaking of shaders. they got a royal buttload of figures, too.
oops! dbl-chkd: Models extracted from VG "Batman: Arkham Asylum". this may cast doubt on provenance of other models.

As a reformed p***te (as I'm sure many of us are) I'm familiar with this site. I recognized lots of stuff from some of my favourite games like Half-Life II and other items from 3D stores like Dosch and Evermotion.
Avoid this place like the plague.
