I created a figure in poser. It saved successfully in the root poser directory. I adjusted the joints and setup dependencies and saved to another runtime. The root runtime location had no obj file. The new runtime location does. Now when I load the figure (a vehicle) the steering controls and the seats aren't visible. There are dials for them, they appear in the higherarchy editor, they have materials in the materials room, the body parts can be chosen and when I turn the (invisible) wheel the dependencies react normally. The only issue is I can't see these parts. They don't show up in any view nor do the render. When I select the part and open the group editor, there is no group name present and I can't chose new group. What did I do to screw this up and how can I fix this?

Yes and yes. I have also tried replacing the suspect body parts with the parts from the original figure. When I save it to the library and then reload, the parts are again not visible. I just don't understand this.

I have resolved the issue. There was some grouping issues that needed correcting. Thanks :)

I'm very interested in the gory details of the problem. I find that one can learn as much from things that don't go well as from stuff that does.
