Well, with the new IDL features, SSS, and GameDev's Kinect motion capture, it's time to update TinkerBell's Drive-In Cafe'.

This is a test render of the rebuilt brownstone rowhouse, one of the background buildings which provide a neighborhood setting for Tink's Cafe'.  Now it has unseen IDL emitters, and no IDL leakage because the walls have thickness.  :)  The test render used only one Poser light at 12% to give moonlight/shadow;  the rest of the lighting is automatically done by the prop's IDL emitters.  The curtains glow because they have a tiny bit of thickness with SubSurfaceScattering applied.

brownstone.

The doors open, and there are interior walls (no furnishings or interior doorways - it is not intended for interior shots) and the fire escape bottom sections swing up to a horizontal position to clear the walkway.  It now has bay windows on the side.  The curtains can be omitted.  It's scaled for Poser folk and is 13,147 polygons.

If you look carefully at the middle window of the three on the top floor of the left round tower, you can just barely discern (through the Venetian blinds) someone standing close to the window. ^^

I was talking to the gal at the local computer shop about Poser Pro GameDev's new Kinect motion capture and of my hope to redux the Tink's Cafe' carhop scene, and she volunteered her sister to act the role of TinkerBell as a rollerskating carhop.  :D

I look forward to doing the cafe's Wurlitzer 1015 jukebox with animated neon bubble tubes.  ^^
