Unless I'm seriously not understanding how the search function works, there's literally no sneakers/shoes for A2/Ana or Miki4. Yes, there's heels but they don't fit in the types of renders I do. I guess it doesn't help that rendo doesn't even have any of the SM figures listed when I search for clothing. :/
I'm looking for good quality footwear like these, but for A2/Ana and Miki:

http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/street-sneaker/82799/
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/i13-athletic-shoes-dawn/100739/
Basically anything listed when you search 'sneakers'.
I've tried messaging some of the vendors and asking them if they'd ever consider making some type of fit morph for the shoes or making some specifically for A2/Ana and Miki4 but so far only one has responded and that was over a month ago and I haven't heard anything since.
I've found some decent stuff on sharecg but no sneakers that fit the two figures I'm looking for. I know that someone was working on a really nice looking sneaker about two months ago but I can't find the thread or remember the posters name.
I've tried buying sneakers designed for V4 and fitting them to the figures but I run out of patients and I suck at shoe fitting in the fitting room. I've basically given up and I'm hoping that you guys can help me out or point me in the right direction.

lol yeah Roxie has sneakers, but I asked about Ana and Miki4.

Yeah I've seen some footwear at Poserworld but the preview windows are so small at 1920x1200 that I can't see how detailed they are. Are the shoe laces just textures or are the actual shoe details modeled on the shoe? Can those shoes stand up to really uplcose renders?
Glitterati3D posted Thu, 02 October 2014 at 9:30 PM
I realize that but Roxie and Miki4 are very close in size and rigging. A conversion should be fairly simple.

Those shoes should also fit on Alyson/Anastasia. There's a pair in Alyson's clothing folder in the Props library.

There's a freebie pair of sneakers for Miki 4 in my Freestuff library. It comes with the cheerleader outfit for Miki 4. This is some of my early modeling work, so the shoes may or may not be to your satisfaction. You should find them in the conforming clothes library.

hmm I haven't tried the copy joints thingy, I should give that a shot. Thanks for the tip! Though there's no alternate textures to the sneakers, it's the same shoe for all the figures and if I put multiple figures in a scene, variety would be needed. TBH They look kind of bulbous-y but I could probably fix that with the morph tool. :p
eclark, thanks for the heads up, I may have grabbed them when you first released them but I don't remember actually installing them. I'll definitely look for them!

RP, the high tops look pretty good but something looks strange about the black and blue pair of sneakers. The shoe itself looks ok , I dunno maybe it's just the cruddy texture they used that makes it seem off to me.
I tried the copy joints method and as usual it didn't work right for me. Can you please give me a step by step with it? I really suck at this. hahah

It didn't work for me either. I've done it with other clothing successfully so I assumed it would work for the shoes too. I'm sorry.

I was able to get the white shoes to fit alyson 2 in the fitting room very easily.
load Alyson (not Ana)
load the shoes (don't conform)
turn off IKs on alyson
set the right shin on the shoe to 5.4 and the left shin to -5.5 ( I ad a little pock through that I ginored until later)
go into the fitting room
create a new session
Add the shoes to object and Alyson to goal. Uncheck the zero figure.
do not click on fit
click on create figure
type in the name you want for the new shoes
in the transfer body parts window click on the box nect to alyson to clear everything.
Scroll down to lToe and check that box
scroll to rToe and check that box. all other needed boxed will be checked automatically.
make sure the 3 options at the bottom are check.
click ok
hide the original shoes and make sure you hade the new ones selected.
click on copy joint zones from... and choose Alyson
Conform. They should fit.
Use the morph brush to fix any poke through.
optional 20. load the Ana morph and copy morphes to shoes from Alyson.
Wardrobe wizard might work too. Shoes can be a little iffy there sometimes.

Ohh man! I had to wait a to work on any of my poser stuff because the drive I was using for my files had to be RMA'd. I've got a new drive back from WD and everything seems to be working from my backup. Thank you RP for the amazing step by step, I'm going to five this a try and see what I get!

I probably should have noted the nnumbers for moving the shins on the shoes is only for that pair of shoes and will probably vary for other shoes.
