Does anyone else have this problem? I recently upgraded to PPGame Dev which requires/comes with the SR4. When I upgraded, the library disappeared due to my outdated flash (this is a common issue, at least with Mac users). Anyway, after installing the latest version of flash (and probably updating Air as well), the library came back, but I have a REALLY hard time navigating it due to the lack of response to double clicks. I've tried slowing down my click rate (literally clicking more slowly) and speeding it up. It seems completely hit or miss to me, which makes the library pretty much useless. I've installed ShaderWork's Library thing, which works fine, but I haven't found a way to get it to work with MC6 files like I want and whenever I change rooms, it ends up jumping around (I have a 2 monitor setup, and the library should stay over on the 2nd monitor, but it jumps around with each room change). Also, I prefer the layout used by the default library better than the tree that ShaderWork's system uses.
So, at this point, neither really works well enough to be satisfying. Due to the near inability to actually use the regular library, I'll continue to use the add-on version, but I'd love it if someone could give me some tips on how to make the double-click work as it should. I'm assuming it's just related to the newest version of Adobe's crapware.

My only recommendation, open General Preferences and select the undock setting for your Library. This uses Adobe Air rather than Adobe Flash and it may improve the Library response for Poser. Each room must be arranged according to your preference individually.

It already is undocked. My library is using Air (I didn't realize that it didn't use Air when it was docked). I actually keep it on a second monitor. How do I get it to go back to being docked? I'm curious if that helps. I did have it working on the second monitor for a few weeks before I upgraded, and it ran fine, so it isn't the fact that it's running separately, unless it's related to the version of Air I have (which should be the most recent).

Aha! When I embed it again, it works perfectly! So, maybe it is just the newest version of Air that is slowing it down. Unfortunately, I really liked having it running on the other monitor:(

You change between the Air library and the flash library by ticking the external library option in General Preferences.
The flash library works both docked and undocked.
In your case, I would try the external library option. This is a separate windows and canot be docked

my 2ct, although I'm running Windows: I experienced serious issues with the External Library two weeks ago after installing a new (beta) version of Air. It simply crashed (the LSMGUIAIR routine). One week ago, I updated Air to a newer (beta) version, and the problem was gone.
You might be experiencing the Mac version of the Air issue.
So an uninstall/reinstall of Air might help, eventually using a different version.

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.
visit www.aRtBeeWeb.nl (works) or Missing Manuals (tutorials & reviews) - both need an update though

It isn't the first that an Adobe update has caused serious Poser issues. Rolling back to a previous version usually does the trick until a better update comes along.

Actually, for me, using embedded was the right one. I'll leave it for the time being, since it seems to be working fine, but I might try installing air again at a later date to see if the external option works for me.
Thanks for all the great input!
