Ok lads, here´s a tuff one for yah.
Lets say i have a building prop in a scene and i want to fill it with my own graffiti tags.
I dont want to go in´n meddle with the wall textures(dont work anyway) but somehow
want to be able to import my graffiti as props/objects....how da F**** do i do that?
I have tried in different ways, exempel just creating a primitive plane and pasted my picture on it. Sure, the tag is there, but also the whole plane itself! I want just the tag to be visible. Sure it works if both plane and wall are white but that´s not what i want.
Got the idea from a friend who did urban tagging as a youth, the criminal variant. He saw me playing adound with Stonemasons US1 and that he could send me tags if i wanted.

you need to make an opacity mask to make the parts of the plane you don't want to see invisible e.g. the same way modellers do for vegetation/leaves etc.

You can add the grafitti as a layer with LIE.
If it has a white background, you can use multiply as blend option and background will drop out. An opacity or alpha map wpuld not be need in that case
Additionally, LIE has position and scaling option so you can correct placement of the grafittis
