Ok, this may be the wrong forum, but figured Marketplace support was the closest that fit this...
I received multiple emails over the last day with the subject being a specific Renderosity Product, and the content of the email basicly stating how "An Item You Previously Viewed Has Been Put On Sale." and a link to the product.
None of the items were in my wishlist. Yes I had viewed them previously, once had them in my wishlist, and had at some point either purchased htem or changed my mind.
While this may not be a bug, per se, it is going to get extremely annoying extremely fast, and I feel Renderosity needs to nip this emailing policy in the bud now. As it is, it is bad enough that members still get multiple emails notifications when multiple items in their wishlists go on sale (and have you seen how long my wishlist is?) - granted in recent web site upgrades you have done some to address this (now multiple items from one vendor going on sale at the same time are in one email at least...but still multiple emails for multiple vendor items). If we are now going to be beseiged by notifications for things we look at in passing, this is going to require me to turn off notifications, because, frankly, this is spamtastic.
Please limit the sales notifications to things actually in our wishlists at least. I do not want to receive a notification for every product I have ever looked at or viewed (hence why they do not all go in my wishlist). Needless to say, we don't need to be notified about sales of items we already purchased months ago either.
The New HD Toaster from Wamco toasts bread more evenly and acurately than Standard Toasters. Take advantage of the FULL resolution of your bread and try one today, because if your toast isn't in High Definition, you are not getting the most of your toast!
